Leo A. Kowalski, age 84, of Lockport passed away peacefully at home on Thursday February 12, 2015. In partnership with his wife, Faith, Leo's life's work was dairy farming. He was an innovative "Maverick" in his approach to farming, and believed in being a good steward of the land by utilizing organic practices. He developed a beautiful herd of Holstein and Guernsey cattle. He was a well-respected, hard worker, who shared his passion for farming with all who were interested.
Leo was a Navy veteran and enjoyed singing in his younger years. Leo was very loving towards his children and their families, and will be greatly missed.
