Obituary of Eugene J. Landrigan

Eugene J. Landrigan passed away February 10, 2015 in the Briody Health Care Facility. "Gene" was born September 12th, 1918 in Lockport, NY, the son of John E. and Lyda (Hannigan) Landrigan. He served in the Army during WW II from 1942 t0 1945 earning a Bronze Star. He married Dolores Conlin on September 29th 1942 and they were married 66 years until her death in 2009. He worked for Olear's Inc. Fuel Oils as a furnace repairman for over 40 years. "Gene" was a member of B. Leo Dolan Post American Legion, the AOH, St. John the Baptist RC Church and a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and in his retirement he enjoyed tinkering and doing small repair job's.
"Gene" is the father of James Landrigan, Sr., Mary Lou (Gary) Hewitson, Jack (Cindi) Landrigan all of Lockport and Peter W. Landrigan of Alaska; also survived by ten grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren. He is also the brother of Helen Landrigan Young and the late Donald (Margaret Mary) Landrigan, Robert (Katherine) Landrigan and Mary (Robert) LaPoint. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Monday February 16th, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated February 17th, 2015 in St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery. Memorials to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated February 17th, 2015 in St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport.
<h3>Interment</h3>
Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
