Lois J. Spencer passed away January 27, 2010 under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born May 3, 1954 in Meshoppen, PA she was the daughter of Roy and Bertha (nee Murphy) Cunningham. Lois worked for 10 years for Voyager Emblems and recently for Niagara County Produce where she was a deli clerk. She was very family oriented, loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and was a mother and role model to many. Lois enjoyed reading, going to the Lancaster Speedway and NASCAR, attending fundraisers and visiting St. John's Lutheran Church, Youngstown.
Lois is survived by her husband Daniel J. Spencer of Lockport; mother of Tina (David) Danielle (Edward) Lechner, Christine (Robert) Ribbeck, Carla (Mark) Gibson and Nicholas (Kristine Nye) Spencer; grandmother of Joshua, Anthony, Christopher, Katie, Leah, James, Pauline, Mark, Jr., and Isabella; great grandmother of Aiden and Nathan; sister of James (Toni)Cunningham, Lewis (Patsy) Cunningham, William (Colleen McCormmick) Cunningham, Robert Cunningham, Anne (Bob Drew) Vance, JoAnne (Duane) Bartz and the late Andy Yerdon; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday 6-9 PM and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Saturday at 12 Noon.
