Shocked when I heard of his passing. Last time i saw him he was being paged at Tim Hortons. I looked around and saw him, he was telling a story, of course. He is probably telling one now. It was an honor to know you my friend.

When I moved next door to my new neighbors in 1988, I new from that day on we would be more than neighbors. Harold was always one of the sweetest, happiest go lucky kind of guys. Over the years I developed a friendship more more like family with the whole Wienke clan. Harold was gracious, kind and giving to all who new him. Some of my happiest memories with him are summer nights on their back deck, having a beer and some of the funniest stories ever! He adored his wife and family and made me feel like one of his beautiful girls as he referred to them. Summer nights will not be the same on Chapel Street, but will be a bit brighter with that new star in the heavens. I love you and miss you Harold.

Dear Wienke Family, So sad to hear of your loss. On behalf of the entire COOPER/WICKS family from the Dudley Square neighborhood we offer you peace and lift you all in prayer. My sister Chris and I have many fond memories from our childhood up at Grandma's house. Mr. Wienke was always so kind, fun and willing to bounce the ball around or play with all of the kids...regardless if they belonged to him or not! May God bless you and comfort you.
