Obituary of Marion B. Chapman

Marion B. Chapman passed away on Thursday January 8, 2015, in Odd Fellows and Rebekah HCC. Born in Medina on May 26, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Alan and Lorraine Banker Armstrong. Marion worked as a molder for Norton Laboratory in Lockport for 25 years, retiring in 1981. She was a member of the Eagles Club, the Dale Association, RSVP, UAW and volunteered for Meal on Wheels. She enjoyed traveling, Bingo, reading and especially spending time with her family. Marion is predeceased by her husband Donald Chapman, who passed away in 1968.
Marion was the mother of Nancy (Eugene) Bishop of Gladewater, TX., Donna (Red) Fleming of Lockport and Marcia (late Raymond) Deeble of East Amherst; grandmother of Jeff (Lorraine) Bishop, Terri (Norm) Eaton, Michael (Amelia) Bishop, Beth (Gary) Deluca, Lisa Richards and Sherri Fleming; great grandmother of 9 and great great grandmother of 4. Marion is also survived by her dear friend Betty Fitzgerald and sister of the late Donald and Keith Armstrong.
Friends may call Sunday 1 to 5 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where services will be held Monday morning at 11 AM. Interment will be in Wrights Corners Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094 or to the Lockport Public Library, 23 East Avenue, Lockport, NY 14094, would be appreciated by the family.

Monday morning at 11 AM at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Wrights Corners Cemetery.
