I happened to be sitting at my computer looking at Quarter Horses for Sale. I came upon one that looked a lot like a horse named Chevy that I knew when I was a young girl. I got to thinking wonder how Rae Levin is doing and if she is still breeding great Quarter Horses. I googled her name and that is how I found this obituary. She was on my mind and I did not expect to find this bad news. My mother Bonnie and Rae would sit up for hours till 1am infact talking about horses and great QH bloodlines. It was around that table that I learned the bloodlines of the Qurarter Horse. It was through my friendship with Rachel that I experienced the Quarter Horse Shows and opened my eyes to a whole other world of showing besides 4-H. Rae Levin was the one of the most influential horse woman in my life. I know she is back on Chevy riding him into the Sunset. Though I have not seen her in more than 20 years, the Levin Family will always be a part of my memories and childhood. Walking down the long road to the barn at night and checking on horses. God Bless you all. Annie Kesterson
