Obituary of Marie Kasprzak

Marie "Connie" Kasprzak passed away January 1, 2015 in Odd Fellow & Rebekah Rehab & Helath Care Center. Born in Lockport on January 1, 1921 in Lockport she was the daughter of Salvatore and Josephine D'Auria. Connie worked at Harrison Radiator on the line and then went to Gasport Elementary School where she worked in the cafeteria for many years so she could be home when her kids where out of school, Connie retired from Fisher Price in Medina. Baptized and confirmed and married out of St Joseph's RC Church Lockport, it was her wish to also receive her final blessing and send off from there. Connie was a member and Eucharistic Minister at St Mary's RC Church Gasport all of her married life. She loved to cook & bake and was known for her sweet disposition and her beautiful smile. Connie was predeceased by her loving husband Henry F. Kasprzak in 2000.
Connie leaves her children, Roger (Karen) Kasprzak and Nancy (late Peter Whitmore) Kasprzak-Whitmore; her granddaughter, Robin (Eric) Sullivan; great grandchildren, Megan, Morgan and Eric; sister of Josephine Brown and late Mary Machelski, Maggie Nocera, Lena D'Auria, Mike, Joe, Sam and John D'Auria; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
There will be no prior visitation. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, January 7th at 10 AM in All Saints Oratory, 391 Market Street, Lockport. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, January 7th at 10 AM in All Saints Oratory, 391 Market Street, Lockport.
