Obituary of Thomas F. Tracey

Thomas F. Tracey passed away Wednesday October 22, 2014 in Buffalo General Hospital. Born in Lockport on December 6, 1959, he was the son of Virginia (nee Moran) Tracey and the late Timothy F. Tracey, Jr. Thomas was a managing partner at DiVita and Tracey CPA, in Amherst. He was a 1978 Graduate of DeSales Catholic High School and 1982 graduate of Niagara University with a BBA. "Tom" was a member of Niagara Area Business Exchange, the AICPA, the Lockport Council Knights of Columbus and its 4th Degree, served as the Advancement Chair of the Boy Scouts, Troop 4 and was the treasurer of the Palace Theater.
Thomas is predeceased by his wife, Jolene Parada Tracey, who passed away August 7, 2014.
Thomas was the father of Matthew P. Tracey and brother of Brian (Joy) Tracey of Plano, TX. He is also survived by his niece Kelly Tracey and Nephew Robert Tracey, both of Plano, TX, Kyle and Ryan Parada of North Adams, MA, Nathan and Katherine Standish both of Naples, FL; he is also survived by several cousins.
Friends may call Saturday October 25, 2014, 3 to 5 PM and Sunday October 26, 2014, 4 to 7 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday October 27th at 10 AM at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery. Memorials to the Lockport Palace Theater or to DeSales Catholic School, would be appreciated by the family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday October 27th at 10 AM at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport.

Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
