Dear Family members, Edie was such a wonderful lady and I so priviledged to have known her. Before her illness, she was my "right-hand" volunteer always willing to help when called on. She loved her church and served it well not only as a member, but also serving on the various committees and Vestry and so enjoyed the present priest Rev. Cindy Sever. Edie was a blessing, not only to her family; but also to me as the church's secretary and friend. May the peace that she now has, comfort you in your loss. Rhonda

I am one of the many young women whose life was changed just by knowing Edith Fagan. I am 55 yrs. old now and as I look back, I know that God placed her in my life for a reason. I was also blessed recently, to be able to finally tell her after all these years how much her life and what she did for me has impacted mine. She is in heaven now and will forever in the hearts of many. Thank you Edith; I love you.

To Rob, Tom, and family, As a "Y-Teen", Edie was my advisor and a special friend. Her cheerful attitude and positve outlook about all things rubbed off on all of us...I will never forget her and the love that she always showed ..My personal regret is that I was never able to share these thoughts with her.. I am sure we will meet again in our heavenly place..Peace and comfort for all....

I remember Edie fondly from my days as a Y-Teen at the YWCA in Lockport. Edie helped create an environment where I enjoyed making friends and built memories of dancing and rollerskating in the gym. We had such fun and Edie was a big part of making that happen. God must be smiling to have her in His kingdom now.

Dear family, How many sweet memories I have of Edie (Pete), her laugh, her joy of living. I shall miss her but know she is with her dear ones again. (I wonder if they have watermelon pit fights in heaven). It brings me comfort to think of her with her Mom and sister and all the Aunts. One day we will all be together again and oh what a joy that will be.

Bob, Tommy and Robert, I had tried to get a phone call to Pete for her birthday and found it had been changed to someone else. I feared the worst and found her obituary. I am so sorry for your loss. Although we had a long distance connection we enjoyed a bonding friendship of love and appreciation for her. She will be missed in our lives and our hearts go out to you for the loss you must feel. I will miss her and would love to hear from you Tom or Bob to keep some connection with you. My mother Sally Hansen is in a Memory Care Unit in Draper, Utah and just turned 91 in December. I guess she is the last surviving of the Buffalo cousins. Love Kathi Layton your Utah connection, cousin
