Obituary of Arlene Grace Schwab

Arlene G. Schwab passed away Saturday October 11, 2014 in Medina Memorila Hospital. Born in Buffalo on October 2, 1926, she was the daughter of the late William and Grace Schlund Hess. Arlene worked on her family farm with her husband and her children. She enjoyed baking, the Casino, playing cards and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Herbert F. Schwab, who passed away December 26, 1996.
Arlene is survived by her children, Janet (late Ronald) Zglinicki, Sharon (Curtis) Brent, Susan Gonzalez, Donna (Steven) Goldhawk, Sally (David) Manicki, Sandra (Miguel Flores) Andrew, Robin (Robert) Mark, Steven (Deborah O'Connor) Schwab, Kent (Melissa) Schwab and the late David Schwab. Grandmother of 41 and great grandmother of 55. She was the sister of Ethel Donner, Marjorie Donner, William (LaVern) Hess, Miriam (Anthony) Sindoni, and the late Irving (Rita) Hess, Floyd Hess, Dolores (Leonard) Maurer and Carol Denning. Arlene is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Wednesday Oct. 15th , 2-4 and 6-9 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday Oct. 16th at 10 AM at ST. John the Baptist R.C. Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport. Interment will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Middleport.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday Oct. 16th at 10 AM at ST. John the Baptist R.C. Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport.

Interment will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Middleport.
