Mike and I sat together for years as caseworkers for child protection. He made that job so much easier just to be in his company. We had so many laughs. He had the best sense of humor and a wonderful personality. My condolences to the family and may he rest in peace.

Mike, Joe and family, Your dad hired me at Kenan in 1973. As you know for the next 41 years we had quite a journey together. All Pro Sports, NCDSS and never ending friendship. I am glad that I got to see Mike this summer as we reminisced about our wild and crazy times together. He will be greatly missed.
