Helen Clare Obituary

Helen Clare passed away January 20, 2010 in Odd Fellows & Rebekah Health Care Facility. Born April 28, 1923 in Lockport she was the daughter of Raymond and Florence (Andrus) Stowell. She enjoyed gardening and playing BINGO. Helen was predeceased by her husband Irving Clare.


Helen is survived by her three daughters Peggy Kraus, Sally (Anthony) Southard both of Lockport and F. Elizabeth Stowell of South Carolina; grandmother of two and great grandmother of two; sister of Elizabeth (Edward) Weinheimer of Sanborn and the late Dorothy Risebrough, Donald and Warren Stowell; also survived by several nieces and nephews.



Relatives and friends may call Friday 3-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 AM. Interment will be in Bear Ridge Cemetery. Please visit www.pruddenandkandt.com to leave condolence to the family.
