Patricia F. McCarthy passed away on Thursday October 2, 2014 in Briody Health Care Facility. Born in Herkimer, NY, on April 10, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Emily Gerbinski Folts. Patricia enjoyed bowling, crossword puzzles, reading and watching the Buffalo Bills. She is predeceased by her husband, Wallace S. McCarthy, who passed away in October of 1997. Patricia is the mother of Sharon (Ken) Hobel and Brian McCarthy, both of Lockport and Gary (Lisa) McCarthy of Long Island, NY; grandmother of Rachel and Megan McCarthy. Friends may call Monday October 6, 2014, 6 to 8 PM, followed immediately by a Memorial Service at 8 PM, in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. Memorials to the Erie County SPCA, 205 Ensminger Rd, Tonawanda, NY 14150, would be appreciated by the family.
