Obituary of Robert J. D'Angelo

Robert J. D'Angelo passed away suddenly July 21, 2014. Born in Lockport on June 28, 1952 he was the son of Joseph D. and Carmela (DiGiovanni) D'Angelo. He served in the US Air Force from 1971 to 1975. Robert worked as a laborer for Harrison Radiator. Boxing was Robert's passion being a fighter himself, a trainer to many and a referee for numerous events. He was a Gold Glove Finalist and was well known in the Northeast for his accomplishments. Robert is survived by his loving friend Vickie (Verity) D'Angelo of Lockport; father of Jessica C. Davis; grandfather of one; step-father of Jennifer (Eric) Heineman and Jeffrey (Amy) Predergast and his beloved dog Jimmy Duffy. Relatives and friends may call Thursday, Thursday, July 24th from 4-8 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Friday, July 25th at 11 AM.
