Tom and I attended Gunnery School at Carswell AFB together and then were assigned to March AFB in the early 1980’s.
Tom was one of the friendliest people I know and would do anything for anybody. He loved life and making people happy. He always knew how to make people laugh.
I only recently found out about Tom’s passing reading a FB post from another Gunner.

I found out about Tom's passing from one of the other B-52 gunners ar March AFB. Tom and I were both gunner students together at Carswell AFB TX in 1980-81 and both of us went to March AFB afterwards in CA. We had some great times in both places.

Valerie and the Boyer family...Im so sorry for your loss..I didnt find out untill yesterday about Toms passing when I returned to work at powertrain tonawanda. I was stunned with the news and sad that i was not able to attend Toms wake...I have many fond memories of working with Tom and Valerie thru the many years at GM in lockport..we shared alot of laughs and good times....He will be greatly missed by many...My nickname for Tom at work was..Tom Bodet from the comerical on TV awhile back about motel 6...I would always say to him..."This is Tom Bodet...we will leave the light on for you!" RIP Tom because I am sure when you passed on from your battle...... the light was on for you...my prayers and thoughts are with youTom and your family...god bless....
