Obituary of Cheryle Haehl

Cheryle S. Haehl passed away at age 65 after a long battle of dementia on Friday, May 23rd, 2014 at the Clare Bridge Memory Care Facility. Cheryle was born in Buffalo on January 31, 1949, she was the daughter of late Robert and Mary Enoch. Cheryle worked at Key Bank of Lockport for many years and received many outstanding awards for her work. Cheryle had many passions especially her 1957 Dusk Pearle Chevy that she and her late husband John loved to do together. Cheryle was a member of the Chevy Club of Canada and the TRI-5 Club which she served as an officer. Another passion of Cheryle's was quilting, if you have ever seen her quilts you would know why, they were just amazing. She was a member of the Kenan Quilters Guild where she had become great friends with many. Cheryle made quilts for just about everyone. We will all go to sleep at night with her wrapped around us. She loved Bingo that's for sure, she played often at the Dale Association and going to the casino was her weekend getaway. Cheryle was a member of the Lockport Optimist Club and judge for the Arts and Crafts Festival of Lockport and a member of the Lockcity Spitfires Red Hat Ladies Club. Cheryle was predeceased by her late husband John A. Haehl who passed away on November 8, 2012, they were married for 46 years on May 23, 1968 and her late brother Robert C Enoch Jr. (Patricia). Cheryle is survived by her brother Gary Enoch of Mesa AZ; half sister Kim Enoch Whorton of Sedalia MO; step-sister of Eugene Haynes of Florida, Paula Haynes Lange of Columbia MO, and Karen Haynes Kelly of Georgia. Cheryle will be missed greatly by many loving nieces and nephews and sisters of the Haehl family.
