Obituary of Dorothy J. Young

Dorothy J. Young passed away May 15, 2014 in Odd Fellow &amp; Rebekah Rehab &amp; Health Care Center, Lockport. Born in Medina on February 17, 1918 she was the daughter of Walter J. and Minerva (Ryan) Holmes. She was a member of the Red Hats and enjoyed crafts, gardening flowers and reading. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Arnold L. Young on August 5, 1985. She is survived by her two sons Kevin (Valerie) and Shannon (Kathi) Young; grandsons David and Kevin Jr. Young; sister of the late Beatrice Fitchlee, Viola Conley, Gertrude Nelson, Katherine Ames, Helen Dunn, Grace Retzloff, Marion Wall, Walter Holmes, Jr., Margaret Pearl, and Frances Webster; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Monday, May 19th from 11-12 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will immediately follow at 12 Noon.
