Obituary of Ruth E. Pless

Ruth E Pless, 93, of Lockport, NY, died peacefully just past the midnight hour on Friday, May the 2nd in Saint Louis where she lived since 2008. Born in Pendleton, daughter of Charles &amp; Frieda Miller (Seifert), Ruth was a beauty and her life was reflective of such through both her time as beauty operator at Peggy&amp;#39;s Beauty Salon and her gardens; particularly her geraniums. Her wit was enjoyed by many as were her Jell-O dishes enjoyed by her great grandchildren. Both will be greatly missed. Wife of the late contractor Herbert J Pless and mother of the late Larry C Pless, Ruth is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Cheryl Dittmer (Saint Louis) and Ms. Lynda Hale (Omaha); 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren - whom she loved dearly. A service will be held at 1pm Saturday, May 10th with visitation hours from 11a - 1p at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lockport. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or the MS Society.
