Obituary of Clifford Schroeder

Clifford H. Schroeder passed away December 29, 2009 in DeGraff Memorial Hospital. Born October 18, 1919 in Buffalo he was the son of Charles and Lydia (nee Nagel) Schroeder. Clifford worked as the plant controller for Allied Chemical, Buffalo for 40 years retiring in 1982. He was a member of the Raymond Community Church and was an avid sports fan. Clifford was predeceased by his wife Mae (nee Hayday) Schroeder in 2005. Clifford is survived by his son Clay (Janet) Schroeder of Gasport. He is the grandfather of Kristin Schroeder of North Tonawanda and Casey Schroeder of Gasport. Clifford is also survived by his nephews Daniel Harmony of Syracuse and Robert (Edna) Harmony of Oswego, NY and a cousin Ruth Way of Pittsburgh. He was predeceased by his siblings Howard, Herbert, Dorothy and Eleanor. Relatives and friends may call Sunday 2-7 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 AM. Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Wendelville Fire Company or to the Raymond Community Church would be appreciated by the family. <h3>Visitation</h3> Friends may call Sunday 2-7 PM <h3>Services</h3> Monday at 11 AM at the Funeral Home. <h3>Interment</h3> Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery.
