Willie Crowfield passed away May 4, 2014 under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Tuskegee-Milstead, AL on August 12, 1938 he was the son of Willie Dean and Ludie Pearl (Williams) Crowfield. Willie served in the US Army from 1956 to 1959 in Germany with Elvis Presley. He worked for Harrison Radiator where he was a welder retiring in 1990 after 25 years. Willie enjoyed playing chess, cards, fishing and horses. He is survived by his wife Patricia (Estep) Crowfield of Niagara Falls; father of Tara (Christopher) Clayton of Lockport; step-father of Kimberly and Vincent Watts both of Niagara Falls; grandfather of Branun, Brynell Middleton, Jaheim Clayton, Brianna Knudson and Shalayna Knudhur; brother of Johnny Riley of Alabama and Sharon Bienaime of Winterhaven, FL; also a host of nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Friday, May 9th from 10-11 AM in Lockport Christ Community Church, 140 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will immediately follow at 11 AM. Interment will be in North Ridge Cemetery. Visit www.pruddenandkandt.com.
