Obituary of Ruth Hugill

Ruth Yvonne Hugill of Lockport passed away December 31, 2009. Born January 19, 1920 in Akron, Ohio she was the daughter of Charles and Beulah (nee Lee) Lea. Ruth was a graduate of Kent State University, Ohio where she was the Home Coming Queen. She was a substitute teacher for many years in the Lockport School system. She was a member of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority, Junior League and studied the Organ under Diane Bish and was a 48 year member of the Lockport Town and Country Club. She enjoyed painting and traveling to Japan and Europe. Most of all she loved her children and grandchildren and spending time with them.
Ruth was the wife of the late Harry L. Hugill and the late Clifford McNaboe. She was the mother of H. Craig (Susan) Hugill of Lockport and the late L. Scott Hugill; mother in law of Teresa Hugill of Lockport and grandmother of Christopher (Kasey) Hugill, Kevin (Jennifer) Hugill, Brian Hugill and Nathan (Andrea) Hugill. Ruth also is survived by her great grandchildren Ella, Charlie, Sophie, Jackson, William and Vivian Hugill.
Friends may call Monday 4 to 7 PM at Prudden and Kandt funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street. Relative and friends are invited to funeral services to be held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock in the
First Presbyterian Church, 21 Church Street, Lockport, NY . Entombment will be in Glenwood Mausoleum. Memorial to the First Presbyterian Organ fund would be appreciated by the family.

Relative and friends are invited to funeral services to be held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock in the First Presbyterian Church, 21 Church Street, Lockport, NY.

Entombment will be in Glenwood Mausoleum.
