Obituary of Rose M. Cuzzacrea

Rose M. Cuzzacrea passed away April 15, 2014 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born in Lockport on April 16, 1916 she was the daughter of Anthony and Mary (Tomaino) Butera. Rose worked in production for Harrison Radiator for 23 years retiring in 1973. She was a member of the UAW Retirees and enjoyed cooking, baking and crocheting. Rose was predeceased by her husband Bernard Cuzzacrea on July 18, 1988.
Rose is survived by her children Stephen (Pat) Cuzzacrea of Lockport and Paula (Rodney) Parks of Kentucky; grandmother of Mark Cuzzacrea, Susan (Darrick) Wright, Julie (Jeffrey) Heiman, Kate (Stewart) Betteridge, Robert Kettenburg, and Julie (Gary) Hubbard; great grandmother of twelve and six great-great grandchildren; sister of the late Roy, Peter, Charles, Joseph, Irene Butera and Mary Wywroz; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday, April 17th from 4 to 8 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Friday, April 18th at 10 AM. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
