John Cioch passed away April 3, 2014 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born on August 27, 1919 in Windber, PA he was the son of Roman and Antonia (Cislak) Cioch. John served in the US Air Force from 1942 to 1945 during WW II where he was ranked Staff Sargent. He worked for Harrison Radiator where he was a machine repairman retiring in 1984. John was a member of the UAW and UAW Travel Club.
John is survived by his wife Jane I. (Koziara) Cioch of Lockport; two daughters Linda (Chester) Durka of Sarastoa, FL and Joyce (Daniel) Terrano of Fort Salonga, NY; two grandchildren Erik (Karie) Durka of Rochester, NY and Jennifer (David) Stevens of Orlando, FL; three sisters Stella (late Peter) Bober of Amherst, NY, Genevieve (late Howard) Schrieber of Lockport and the late Helen Bober; also several nieces and nephews.
Private graveside services were held at the convenience of the family. Entombment was in Glenwood Mausoleum.
