Harold C. Flick passed away Sunday March 30, 2014 in Briody Health Care Facility. Born October 23, 1927 in Tonawanda, NY he was the son of Martin and Evelyn Linck Flick. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, after his time serving his Country he owned and operated the Flick Trucking Co. for 45 years retiring in 1995. Harold enjoyed hunting with his wife, fishing, dancing, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle but his real enjoyment came from spending time with family especially his grandchildren. He was a member of St. Mary's Church and the Club 60.
Harold is the husband of Ruby Watkins Flick; father of John (Lorraine) Hunt, James (Suzan) Hunt, Karon (Richard) Anterline and Patricia (Wayne) Gianbrone; he is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; brother of Roger (Delores) Flick and uncle of Kevin Flick and Renee Mosher.
Relatives and friends may call Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, NY where prayers will be offered Wednesday morning at 10:30 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11 AM in All Saints Parish at St. Mary's Church, 5 Saxton Street, Lockport, NY. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery. Memorials to the Lockport Soup Kitchen, c/o Salvation Army, 50 Cottage Street, Lockport, NY 14094, would be appreciated by the family.
