Obituary of Brenda L. Sprung

Brenda L. Sprung passed away Monday March 24, 2014 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born in Buffalo on November 21, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Elva Plaster Munger. Brenda worked for 26 years at Newfane Hospital as a Registered Nurse, retiring in 2011. She was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lockport and enjoyed gardening, visiting Disney World and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Brenda was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, John W. Sprung, who passed away October 22, 2005. Brenda is survived by her sons, Kenneth Sprung, Russell (Mary Beth) Sprung and Timothy (Cheryl) Sprung all of Lockport. She was the grandmother of Brandon, Michelle, Amanda and Tiffany; sister of David Munger of Texas and Douglas Munger of Tennessee. Friends may call Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, Inc., 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. A funeral service will be held Friday afternoon at 1 PM, in Trinity Lutheran Church, 67 Saxton Street, Lockport, NY 14094. Interment will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery when weather permits.
