Dear Kevin, I'm sorry to have this letter delivered in such a strange way but I didn't have an address for you. I'm so saddened to hear of your fathers passing. He was a wonderful man. I, and so many others have such fond memories of him patrolling the halls at Washington Hunt. He was always smiling, and it wasn't just because I was his favorite, he smiled at all the kids, even the ones that weren't. Kevin, I was right where you are in February, when my Father died. It's horrible. One of the only things that helped ease the sadness was knowing so many people appreciated and cared for my father. Luckily, you have the same. So many people loved and respected your Dad. I hope that gives you and your family a little comfort. Take care of yourself, I'm sorry for your loss. Sent with love my friend, Tabitha

I am sorry to hear of Mr. O'Shea's passing. He was the principal of George Southard when I broke my arm during school and had to be taken to the hospital. He was unable to reach my father by phone, so he drove to my house, picked him up and drove him to the hospital to see me. It has been 25 years, but his kindness is something I will never forget. May he rest in peace.
