Arlene B. Benedict passed away March 20, 2014 in Briody Health Care Facility. Born March 29, 1916 in Heoron, PA she was the daughter of Christopher and Berniece Cavanaugh. Arlene was a canner for various factories in the Lockport area. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Charles Benedict whom she married February 9, 1935, he passed away November 9, 2001. Arlene is the mother of Anne E. Montgomery of Blairsville, PA, Ruth S. Kennedy of Barker and the late John H. Benedict; also nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and seventeen great-great grandchildren.
