Obituary of Karen Mae Brooks

Karen Mae Brooks passed away Saturday March 15, 2014 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born in Lockport on November 17, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Joyce Spring Patterson. Karen was a graduate of Starpoint High School and was a Certified Nursing Assistant. She is survived by her longtime companion Richard Cyrus.
Karen was the mother of SR Brooks, Shannon (Chris) Brooks and Robert Brooks; grandmother of Skysha, Volandra and Riley; sister of Deborah (John) Kinzly, Patricia (John) Preston and Jacquie (Daniel) Schichtel; step sister of Michael (Susan) Wohleben, David (Mary) Wohleben and Jerry Wohleben.; also survived by several nieces, nephews and her dog Chiefy.
A memorial service will be held Monday, April 7th at 11 AM in St. Paul's United Lutheran Church of Christ, 3921 Mapleton Road.
