Edward A. Ehmke passed away March 6, 2014 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Amherst. Born in San Diego, CA on May 28, 1954 he is the son of Leonard and Marilyn (Hague) Ehmke. Edward worked for Delphi where he was a welder inspector. He enjoyed bowling tournaments, all sports, fishing, hunting, traveling, reading, dancing, tiing flies, wine making, photography, race cars, was a self-taught musician, repairing electrical and musical equipment. Edward is survived by his wife of four years Jacqueline (Diemert) Meyer Ehmke of Lockport; father of Michael (April) Ehmke and Karen (Steven) Novark; grandfather of four; brother of Julie Kramp and Carrie Swiercinsky; nephew of Evelyn Soulvie and Jeanine Kowalski; Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, March 11th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 12th at 11 AM. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094 or to American Cancer Society, 6725 Lyons St., PO Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057-0007 would be appreciated. <h3>Visitation</h3> Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, March 11th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. <h3>Services</h3> Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 12th at 11 AM at the funeral home. <h3>Interment</h3> Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
