Obituary of Sandra Jean Berzer

Sandra "Sandy" J. Berzer passed away February 25, 2014 after a long illness. Born in Buffalo on July 9, 1949 she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Julia (Juiliano) Naples. Sandy worked for St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church in Getzville where she was an administrative assistant for 15 years; before that Sandy worked at Park Edge, Bell's Grocery Store and Quality Markets for over 20 years. Sandy was an avid Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres fan. She enjoyed country music and had a special affinity for Blake Shelton. She was a member of the Ladies of Charity and Altar & Rosary Society at St. Pius X. Sandy was lovingly called "Sandy Beach" by her brother Rick and sisters Barbara, Julie, and Cher and was also referred to as their VOR (Voice Of Reason). Sandy's daughter Mandy Berzer-Grzegorczak referred to her mom as "Chick-A-Dee" and together they watched many Sabres games. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas J. Berzer in 1998.
Sandy is survived by her daughter Amanda (Michael) Grzegorczak of Lancaster, NY; sister of Richard (Kathleen) Naples of Coca, FL, Barbara (Dayson) Kendrick of Lawrenceville, GA, Juliana Naples of Lockport and Cheryl Naples of Lockport; also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass on Friday, Feb. 28th at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. Flowers gratefully declined. Visit www.pruddenandkandt.com.
