Obituary of Robert J. Lamont

Robert Joel Lamont, 62, passed away on February 21, 2014. Joel was born on September 7, 1951 in Lockport, NY, son of the late Robert and Nina (Fallon) Lamont. He was a member of the Redmen and Navy-Marine Club. Joel loved hunting, was a huge NASCAR and NY Yankees fan, but most of all he loved spending time with his family especially his grandkids who referred to him as "Poppa". Joel is predeceased by his wife, Pam, who passed away January 20, 1989. Joel is survived by his sons; Christopher (Carmine) Lamont and Michael Lamont; his two grandchildren; Lydia and Dylan. He was predeceased by his siblings Richard and Gary Lamont and Donna Bennett. Family and friends are invited to visitation, which will be held on Tuesday, February 25 from 1-3 and 6-8 in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, where his funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26 at 10AM. In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family. <h3>Visitation</h3> Family and friends are invited to visitation, which will be held on Tuesday, February 25 from 1-3 and 6-8 PM. <h3>Services</h3> Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 26 at 10AM at the funeral home.
