Obituary of MarK A. Dodge

Mark Austin Dodge, born on April 8, 1950, entered into rest on February 15, 2014, under the care of family and Niagara Hospice. Mark was a 1970 graduate of Lockport Senior High School and attended Niagara County Community College. Mark worked at Harrison Radiator Division of General Motors for 30 years before retiring in 2000. Mark was involved in several organizations throughout the years: Lockport BPO Elks #41, Newfane Lions Club, and the committee to restore the Van Horn Mansion. Mark played Bus Lines baseball. Mark fulfilled his dream of becoming a member of the Hawthorne Cabarellos Alumni Drum Corps. Mark was a huge fan of the Miami Dolphins and also enjoyed the Boston Red Sox.
Son of the late John (Jack) and Olga Foltz Dodge. Husband of Cynthia (Cindy) Hall Dodge and father of Renee Noon Zapp. Grandfather to Nathaniel Austin Snow, Adrienne Snow, and Vanessa Zapp. Mark was predeceased by his brother Richard (Dick) Dodge. Mark is also survived by many members of the Dodge, Hall, Foltz, and Noon families.
Relatives and friends may call Sunday, Feb. 23rd from 2-3 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will immediately follow at 3 PM. Interment will be Monday in Acacia Park Cemetery. Relatives and friends are also invited to a memorial service on Monday, Feb. 24th at 7 PM in Warrens Corners United Methodist Church and to a Life Remembrance on Tuesday, Feb. 25th from 6:30-8:30 PM in the Lockport BPO Elks #41.
