Obituary of Bruce M. Seeloff

Bruce M. Seeloff passed away February 17, 2014 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Amherst. Born in North Tonawanda on November 7, 1930 he was the son of Frederick and Edith (Bowler) Seeloff. Bruce served in the Army during the Korean War. He worked for the City of Lockport for 33 years where he was a fireman retiring as a lieutenant in 1986. He was a member of the Lock City Firefighter Association IAFF #963 and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and working on model RR.
Bruce is survived by his wife of 58 years Elaine (Sharpe) Seeloff of Lockport; father of Michael (Debbie) Seeloff, Jacqueline Sas, Terri (Donald) Sherman and Mark Seeloff all of Lockport; grandfather of Michael (Eunice) Seeloff, Craig (Michele) Sherman, Christopher (Beth) Sherman, Andrew (Samantha) Heschke, Tiffany Seeloff, Alexandria Seeloff, Joel Heschke, Andrea Seeloff, Lisa (Robert) Szpilewski, Jennifer (Randy) Sullivan, Rene (Andy) Breen and Nathan Sherman; great grandfather of Haliegh Seeloff, Patrick Sherman, Madeleine Sherman, Makaleigha Sherman, Melissa Sherman, Delilah Heschke, Tyler and Conner Sullivan and Morgan and Kennedy Szpilewski; brother of the late Norval and George Seeloff; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday, Feb. 20th from 1-4 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will immediately follow at 4 PM. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Lockport Rescue Fund c/o LFD, Lock City Benevolent Association, 1 Locks Plaza, Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated.
