The last time I saw Aunt Mary I was in the 9th grade. I am 63 years young now.
I remember how sweet she was and I really liked visiting in Lockport.
I would have really liked to have known that part of my family.
I often thought of you fondly and my sweet cousin. Just knowing all you girls have passed brings. Me sorrow. I am Zella's and Ike's second eldest.
My condolences go out to the family. She'll be missed.
Sincerely,
Denise

To the family:
This is late to offer my condolences, however, I just received this from my daughter.
Aunt Mary was very funny with her dry sense of humor and we used to write and sent Christmas cards (Aunt Jane too), but lost touch decades ago. I wondered what happened, but never knew.
I returned to Transit Street 2 years ago and was able to go into Grampa and Gramma's old house. The grounds looked the same as I remembered it. The house too, except for the changes of paneling, etc. I can still see the red velvet rocker in that corner of the living room next to a round table that contained her hobnail glass ashtrays/salters. It was quite emotional for me to say the least.
I am the oldest daughter of Zella. Is Aunt Pauline doing well, if any of you know?
Aunt Mary's life was long and that in itself is an achievement.
God bless all of you.

We were both deeply saddened by the news. Although the acceptance of her leaving may lessen as time passes, let your memories keep her spirit alive. We hope each new day brings you peace and a greater gratitude for all that she had to offer her family in her time here on this earth.
