Obituary of James E. Baudendistle

James E. Baudendistle passed away January 23, 2014 in Niagara Hospice House surrounded by his family. Born in Lockport on September 30, 1950 he is the son of Norma (Spoor) Baudendistle and the late Karl Baudendistle. He worked for AKZO Chemical in Burt where he was a purchasing agent. James enjoyed traveling, fishing, the outdoors and was a very devoted family man his, family was his life.
James is survived by his high school sweetheart whom he married August 29, 1970, Connie (Smallman) Baudendistle of Lockport; loving father of Lori (Steven) Soles of Newfane and Jill (Jeffrey) Wilson of Wheatfield; cherished grandfather of Brooke Soles, Nicholas Soles, Hanna Wilson, Hailey Wilson and Briana Wilson; caring brother of Richard (Sharon) Baudendistle of Lancaster, Janet Baudendistle, Joan (Robert)Smith, Kenneth (Tracy) Baudendistle all of Lockport and the late Barbara Stickney and Charles "Chucky" Baudendistle; brother-in-law of Roger Stickney and Bonnie Baudendistle; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Monday, Jan. 27th from 3to 7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, Jan. 28th at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.
