Obituary of Roy Raymond Wheatley

Roy R. Wheatley entered into rest on January 20, 2014 in Eastern Niagara Hospital. Born January 6, 1942 in Newfane, N.Y., Roy was the son of Richard and Lucille (Scherf) Wheatley. He is survived by sisters, Ann Howell of Gasport, N.Y. and Mary Moon of Hawaii and a brother, James Wheatley of Cedar Hill, TX. Roy was predeceased by the following brothers and sisters: Richard Wheatley, Jean Bloomingdale, William Wheatley, Thomas Wheatley, and Lucille Reisberg. He was the beloved uncle of Donna and Howard Simard, Carol Gala, and many other nieces and nephews. Roy&amp;#39;s best-loved activity was bowling with family, the Challenger Sports League, and the many good friends he made at Allie Brants. Each spring and summer Roy was happy helping out at the Little League field and playing Challenger softball. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, and riding his bike.
