Obituary of Doreen Isabelle Bond

Doreen I. Bond passed away January 5, 2014 in Briody Health Care Facility. Born in Toronto, Ontario on September 28, 1925 she was the daughter of Leslie and Gladys (Taylor) Blythe. Doreen worked for the Toronto Star where she was a secretary and also Bell's Grocery Store, Lockport where she was a buyer and a manager. She volunteered at Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport, the Senior Citizen Center and enjoyed camping. Doreen was predeceased by her husband Joseph R. Bond in 1985 and her son Richard Bond. Doreen is survived by her daughter Linda (Anthony) DiPaolo of Lockport; grandmother of Diana Sparks, Sandra (Michael) Sperduti, Ben (Kari) DiPaulo, Tracey Bond, Jeremy Bond and Joseph Bond; great grandmother of James Sparks, Mason Sparks, Sandra Sparks, Jacquilyn Sperduti, Samanatha Sperduti, and Anthony DiPaolo.
