Joyce C. Lewis passed away on December 29, 2013 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport surrounded by her loving family. Born in Lockport in 1940 to the late Carl and Stella Golonka. Joyce was predeceased by her husband Francis E. "Bud" Lewis, borther Richard E. Golonka. Joyce is survived by her children Mike (Laura) Bishop, Julie (Carolyn) Bishop, Dan Bishop, Richard (Lisa) Lewis, Todd (Lenette) Lewis, Wendy Mackenzie, Melanie (David) Vtipil; sister-in-law Carolyn Golonka; grandchildren Crystal Lederhouse, April. Ashley, Beth, Tabatha, Brandon Bishop, several step grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Joyce retired from Lockport Memorial Hospital as a nurse's aide after 25 years of service. She was a member of the Navy/Marine Club and the Redmen Club. Joyce loved spending time at her summer home with family and friends, playing BINGO, and going to the casino. She will be greatly missed by those whose life she touched.
