William D. Black passed away December 25, 2013 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born in Lynwood, CA on October 11, 1965 he was the son of William and Phyllis (McBrayer) Black. William worked in collections for United Merchant Asset Recovery in Lockport and also was a chef at Marrinochio's, The Protocal and Russell's. He enjoyed camping, kayaking, fishing, being outdoors, his dog McNally and especially enjoyed being with his family. William is survived by his wife of 11 years together for 21 years, Amy Powless-Black of Lockport; father of Michael W. and Charles O. Black both of Lockport; brother of Frances Black of Lockport and Carneal Cummings, III. Relatives and friends may call Monday, Dec. 30th from 7-9 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 31st at 10 AM. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.
