Obituary of Catherine Roberts

Catherine E. Roberts passed away December 17, 2009 in Newfane Rehab &amp; Health Care Center. Born August 8, 1914 Buffalo she was the daughter of the late Lawrence B. and Eleanor (nee Krampf) Doherty. Catherine retired in 1979 from Niagara Permanent Bank and prior to working there she worked for NYS Unemployment Offices. Catherine was a member of All Saints Parish at St. Patrick's Church where she belonged to the Altar &amp; Rosary and the Ladies of Charity. She loved spending time with family. Catherine was predeceased by her husband Raymond G. Roberts, Sr. on December 14, 1993. Catherine is survived by her children Eleanor (Richard) Scinta, John J. Roberts, Cathy DeLange, Lawrence P. Roberts, Elizabeth (Garth) Wilson and Raymond G. (Kerrin) Roberts, Jr. all of Lockport; grandmother of seventeen and great grandmother of thirty. She is the sister of Georgiana Moran and was predeceased by six siblings; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 AM in All Saints Parish at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, 76 Church Street, Lockport. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
