Obituary of Clarita Sandage

Clarita J. Sandage passed away December 12, 2013 in Buffalo General Medical Center. Born in Lockport on May 26, 1940 she was the daughter of Melvin and Clara (Tracey) Coates. Clarita attended St. Joseph's Academy and worked in production at Harrison radiator for 43 years retiring in 1999. She was a member of the UAW Retirees and enjoyed volunteering at the Dale Association, gardening, gourmet cooking and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Clarita is survived by her children Jerry P. Tomkinson of San Diego, CA, Mark Tomkinson of North Carolina, Daniel Tomkinson of Lockport, Scott (Elaine) Tomkinson of Colorado, Mary (Harry) Craft of Niagara Falls, Susan (Hugh) Lambert of Monticello, Nancy (Adam Becker) Paris of Milwaukie, WI and Jason Collins of Amherst; grandmother of nineteen and also several great grandchildren; sister of Marion (Gerald) Landrigan and Shirley Tolli both of Lockport; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Monday, Dec. 16 from 3-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, Dec. 17th at 10 AM in All Saints Parish, 76 Church St., Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.
