Obituary of Alan Manning

Alan Thomas Manning passed away December 11, 2013 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born August 13, 1945 in Buffalo, NY he was the son of Rodney and Jane (Cunningham) Manning. Alan served in the U.S. Navy, serving on the USS Preserver. After service he became a machinist at Sherwood-Selpac Corp. in Lockport. He was an avid fisher and hunter and enjoyed spending time with his family. Alan was the husband of Gloria Winter Manning; father of Tonya A. (Joseph) Panepento of Pendleton and Paula J. (Paul) Stephens of Parkersburg, West Virginia. He also is survived by his three granddaughters Jessica and Chelsea Panepento and Shelby Stephens. Relatives and friends may call Friday, December 13, 2013 from 6 to 9 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning in Good Shepherd Church, 5442 Tonawanda Creek Road, North Tonawanda, NY (Town of Pendleton) at 10 AM.
