Obituary of Frances Crossman

Frances H. Crossman went to be with her Heavenly Father December 6, 2013 in Briody Health Care Facility. Born in Lockport on January 30, 1913 she was the daughter of Joseph and Martha (Henning) Greenthaner. She worked for Roy B. Kelley Elementary School where she was a cook for 34 years retiring in 1995. Frances was a life member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Lockport and enjoyed bowling, crocheting, knitting and gardening. She was predeceased by her husband Carl Crossman on August 6, 1983, two sons Paul Bennett and Robert Bennett and siblings Edward Greenthaner and Edna Scheuneman.
Frances is survived by her grandchildren Shelley (Gary) Waters, Paul Scott Bennett, Angela Devoe, Daniel (Marie) Bennett, Jeff Bennett, Wendy (David) Farnsworth, and Cyd (Dennis) Cehulik; great grandmother of fifteen, great-great grandmother of two and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, Dec. 11th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 12th at 10 AM. Interment will be in Boxwood Cemetery, Medina. Memorial donations to Trinity Lutheran Church, 67 Saxton St., Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated. Visit www.pruddenandkandt.com.
