Obituary of Ralph Winters Jr.

Ralph E. "Buzzy" Winters, Jr. passed away peacefully December 3, 2013 under the care of Niagara Hospice and his family. Born in Lockport on September 17, 1950 he was the son of Ralph E. and Josephine (Converso) Winters Sr. He graduated from Lockport High School in 1968 and worked for Harrison Radiator in production for 30 years retiring in 1998. Buzzy was a fan of the San Diego Chargers and the Cleveland Indians. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Buzzy is survived by his wife Gail (McDonnell) Winters of Pendleton; father of Michelle (Michael Brown) Winters of Pendleton, Jennifer (Andrew) Werner of West Seneca and Patti Jo (Christopher) Bushley of Lockport; grandfather of Zachary Werner, Lillian Bushley, and Ryan Werner; brother of Larry Winters of Middleport, Paula (John) Tolli and Karen (Jerry) Trombley both of Lockport; son-in-law of the late Francis &amp; June McDonnell; brother-in-law of Dale (Cyndi) McDonnell, Francis McDonnell, Barbara (Jerry) Ryer and the late Patrick McDonnell; also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews. In honor of Buzz's final wishes there will be no visitation. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
