Obituary of Thomas Randall

Thomas R. Randall passed away December 3, 2013 under the care of Niagara Hospice in Absolut of Gasport. Born in Lockport on May 7, 1924 he was the son of Herbert and Elsie (Hook) Randall. He served in the US Army from 1944 to 1946 earning the American Theater Ribbon, Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon with two Bronze SV Stars, the Philippine Liberation Ribbon with one Bronze SV Star, the Good Conduct medal and the World War II Victory Medal. Thomas worked for Harrison Radiator for 39 years where he was a tinsmith retiring in 1983. He was also a competitive skeet shooter and enjoyed hunting and golfing. Thomas was a member of the VFW in Lockport and the American Legion in Newfane.
Thomas is survived by his wife of 66 years Dorothy (Sherman) Randall of Lockport; father of Richard (Lori) Randall of Wilmington, NC, Mark (Laurie) Randall of Union Grove, AL, Scott (Mary) Randall of St. Louis, MO and Cynthia (Nicholas) Randall-Rosa of New Fairfield, CT; grandfather of Tessa, Alec, Christopher, Hailey, Kelly, Kevin, Katie, Nick, Brian, Tommy, and Isabella; great grandfather of Naya, Layne, and Gigi; brother of Charles Randall of Lancaster, Elsie (late James) Brady of North Tonawanda, Brenda (James) Pichey of Olcott and the late John Randall; brother-in-law of Connie Randall; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to A Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 1 PM in St. Brendans-on-the-Lake Roman Catholic Church (former St. Bridget's Roman Catholic Church), Ewings Road, Newfane.
