Carolaine F. (Slaght) Cutler of Lockport NY entered into rest on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Our Lady Of Peace in Lewiston, NY. Born in Lockport, NY on Apri1 26, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Robert Keith Slaght and Evelyn Slaght Etheridge. Carolaine lived at Windham Lawn Orphanage for about 5 years then moved in with her grandmother where she attended and graduated Lockport Senior High School. She was a stay at home Mom who devoted her life to raising her children. Her hobbies included gardening, baking. various crafts and crocheting. She enjoyed attending and volunteering at The Lockport Assembly of God Church.
She was the mother of Newton (Patty) Cutler, Cherilee (Anthony) Papp, Holly (Larry) Edminster and the late Juleine Cutler and Denice Hardy; grandmother of 11 and great grandmother of 4. Carolaine was the sister of Daryl (Diane), Jeanne (Daniel), Judy (Helmut), Cheryl, Darlene, Patsy, Rose (Charles), Robert, Clarence, Carol and the late Betty, Sally Ann and JoAnn, she is also predeceased by one grandson; Carolaine is also survived by many nieces, nephew, and cousins.
Friends may call Tuesday 11 AM until 1 PM in the Assembly of God Church, 200 Beattie Ave, Lockport, NY 14094, where services will immediately follow at 1 PM. Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery. Memorials to the Church would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences at www.pruddenandkandt.com.
