William Walter Papin passed away suddenly November 14, 2013 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Newfane. Born March 10, 1939 to the late Walter and Elizabeth (nee Tatrault) Papin in Tupper Lake, NY. He moved to Tonawanda in his senior year of high school. William worked in production for Dunlop Tire, Tonawanda for 20 years retiring in 1998. He was a member of the Wilson Conservation, was an avid sportsman, enjoyed fishing and hunting and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
William is survived by his wife whom he married in June 14, 1986, Sharon (nee Delahunt) Heinz Papin; father of Mary Beth Kureczka of North Carolina, Holly Ann (Fred) Judge of Greece, NY and William Joseph (Robin) Papin of Florida; step-father of John E. (Audrey) Heinz of Newfane and Michael K. Heinz of Hartland; grandfather of Evan Kureczka, Meghan Garrison, Gabrielle Judge, Matthew Judge, Sean Judge, Julia Rose Papin, Lily Papin, Jack Michael (Kelsey) Heinz, Ashley Elizabeth Heinz and the late Christopher Kent Heinz; granddaughter-in-law Kelli Heinz; great grandfather of Aimee and Tyler Garrison and Jackson and Harper Judge; brother of Donna (Rick) Jeeves, Faye (Dennis) Haner, Karlene (Kelly) Daniel all of Tonawanda and the late Linda Pallotta; brother-in-law of Frank Pallotta, John T. Delahunt, Toni Delahunt (Arnie), Candy (Jack) Sokolofsky, Joanne (Susie) Delahunt and the late Bud Delahunt; son-n-law of the late John "Ed" and Althea Delahunt; also several nieces, nephews and his fur babies Mia and Willy.
Relatives and friends may call Sunday, November 17th from 2-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Monday, November 18th at 11 AM. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. Memorial donations to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated. Visit www.pruddenandkandt.com.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 18th at 11 AM in the funeral home.

Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.
