Obituary of Joyce Andrews

Joyce E. Andrews passed away October 12, 2013. Born in Lockport on November 8, 1937 she was the daughter of Chester E. and Ethel (Dixon) Andrews. Joyce earned her Bachelor's degree in Education &amp; Ministry and worked for 27 years for the Niagara Wheatfield School District teaching at Eric Road Elementary, retiring in July 1st, 1993 . She belonged to the Friends of the Library at the Lockport Public Library, NYSUT, Second Presbyterian Church in Lockport where she active with the church committee, the Crop Walk and the Wrights Corners Presbyterian Church. Joyce enjoyed knitting, reading, cooking, and loved camping in Maine. She is survived by her many cousins. Friends are invited to funeral services on Friday, Oct. 18th at 11 AM in the Wrights Corners Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.
