Obituary of June Heiman

June Heiman passed away Wednesday October 9, 2013. Born in Amherst on April 28, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Magdalena Hartman Liscoff. June was a telephone operator for NY Telephone for 8 years; she was a member of the Lockport Senior Citizens and longtime past member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was an avid bowler. June is survived by her children Judy (Carl) Behrend of Amherst and Dr. Gary (Karen) Heiman of Charlotte, NC; grandmother of Scott (Betsy) Behrend and Christopher Behrend. June is predeceased by her siblings Marie Conley, Russell Liscoff, Frederick Liscoff, Annette Liscoff, Betty Palisano and William Liscoff. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Sunday 1 to 5 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where services will be held, Monday morning at 11 AM. Entombment will be in Glenwood Mausoleum.
