Obituary of Sally Ward

Sally J. Ward passed away on October 1, 2013 after a long battle with cancer. She was born on February 19, 1947 in Buffalo, NY. She was the daughter of the late Ed &amp; Grace (Smith) Tagg. Mrs. Ward was a secretary for the county for many years. She was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous with 26 years sobriety. She was predeceased by her brother Kevin Tagg, sister Cathy Palmer &amp; also predeceased by the love of her life, husband &amp; companion John F. Ward. She is, also, predeceased by her biological mother, Marion Palmer. Sally is survived by her children; Tonja (Todd) Rose of Florida, Michael (Kim) Evans of Lockport and TarraSue (Vince) Hughes of Lockport. Her grandchildren James Bowes (Lkpt), Joseph Bowes (Lkpt), TJ Rose (FL), Teshna Evans (FI), Brian Scott (Marieke) Evans (CA), Krystal Evans (FL), Taylor Evans (FL), Justine Evans (FL),Courtney Hughes (Lkpt), Brittany Hughes (Lkpt), Michelle Evans (Lkpt), Whitney Hughes (Lkpt), Megan Evans (Lkpt) Morgan Evans (Lkpt). She is, also, survived by great grandchildren Travecia, Jahvontae, Ivy, and Janelle of Florida and Haley, Maycle, Mariah, Amiyah and Braden of Lockport. Mrs. Ward is, also, survived by her siblings Barbara (Don) Sherman of Newfane, Eddie (Cheryl) Tagg of Lockport, Bobby Palmer, Russell Palmer, Junior (Art) Palmer, Patti (Randy) Ray, Bruce Palmer, Maria Shaver &amp; Tammy Palmer. And several nieces, nephews and cousins. From the bottom of our hearts, the family would like to thank Ronda Criswell for taking good care of our mom/grammy in a time of need.
